Welcome to the Diamond Farrier Co. site, dedicated to the distribution of Diamond products in the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Founded in 1908 as the Diamond Calk Company by blacksmith Otto Swanstrom, today Diamond Farrier is owned and managed by the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Company. From a modest beginning in Duluth, Minnesota, manufacturing only horseshoes by hand, Otto could not have imagined how this iconic brand would grow into the one-stop brand for farriers it is today; offering horseshoes, farrier tools and horseshoe nails.

As the world's largest independent horseshoe manufacturer, the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory is a market leader in the farrier industry. As a family owned company since 1906, Kerckhaert shares Diamond's heritage and experience and brings added passion and innovation for quality and design of product.

Here’s what professional farrier Steve Prescott, CJF APF (current president of the American Association of Professional Farriers) has to say about the Diamond Bronco shoe:

“I find that the Diamond Bronco shoe matches up well with some of the smaller footed Hunter ponies that are in my Farrier practice.  The section of steel in this shoe is appropriate for a hoof with a fine wall thickness, yet the shoe is thick enough to provide me with excellent forging options.  The shoe in the picture is nailed on a fine walled, base narrow, low level eventer.  Forging clips on the Bronco proved to be easy and there was enough meat between the nails to forge an adequate clip.  The nail holes are well spaced.”
